About Stockport County and Edgeley Park

Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country’s longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.

Edgeley Park underwent extensive refurbishment in 2020 and now boasts eight beautifully refurbished event spaces. The stadium offers a variety of spaces to accommodate events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences and exhibitions including conferences, team away days, sportsman dinners, weddings and much more.


Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven and passionate Events Marketing Executive to spearhead the sales and marketing efforts for non-match conferences and events at Edgeley Park.

You will be a driving force behind the success and profitability of the conferences and events calendar.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy: Shape an engaging marketing and communication plan to help grow Edgeley Park's reach to diverse target audience using traditional and digital methods.
  • Drive Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure monthly targets are consistently met.
