Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Coach to join our Academy team. The postholder is responsible for designing and delivering training sessions within the structure of the Academy coaching framework. Working 8 hours per week (4 Training and 4 Matchday)
Key Responsibilities
- Show professionalism and desire to develop players in line with the coaching philosophy of the club.
- Plan and deliver training sessions in alignment with the curriculum.
- Develop individual players to allow them the opportunity to reach their maximum potential.
- Work well with a team of coaches within the Foundation Phase to ensure that the high standards of the Academy are met.
- Continuously represent the clubs culture and values to promote a positive environment for players and staff.
Essential
- UEFA B licence & FA Youth Award
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to use a variety of communication tools (verbal, written, digital)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- IT skills to include the ability to use performance analysis software and Microsoft office.
- Experience working within an Academy, desirably within the Foundation Phase age groups.
