We are seeking an enthusiastic Supporter Services Assistant to join our Supporter Services team.
This role is a vital part of delivering an exceptional experience for our supporters. The successful candidate will provide first-class customer service across all ticketing and supporter enquiries, assisting with season tickets, match tickets, memberships, ticketing administration and matchday operations. Working closely with colleagues across the club, you will help ensure every supporter interaction reflects the values and ambitions of Stockport County Football Club.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as a first point of contact for supporter enquiries via phone, email, online channels and in person.
· Process ticket sales for home and away matches through the club's ticketing systems.
· Assist supporters with season ticket purchases, renewals, upgrades and membership enquiries.
· Provide excellent customer service and resolve supporter issues in a professional and timely manner.
· Support the administration and maintenance of supporter and customer databases, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
· Assist with the fulfilment and distribution of season cards, memberships and ticketing-related communications.
· Support matchday ticket office operations, including ticket sales, collections and general supporter assistance.
· Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of ticketing and supporter services.
· Assist with the implementation and promotion of ticketing campaigns, sales initiatives and supporter engagement activities.
· Ensure compliance with all ticketing policies, procedures and data protection requirements.
· Handle card transactions accurately in line with club procedures.
· Produce and maintain accurate records and reports as required.
· Represent Stockport County professionally at all times and contribute positively to the supporter experience.
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Supporter Services.
Essential
· Previous experience in a customer service, administration or retail environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with supporters and colleagues.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
· Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as required.
· A positive, proactive and flexible approach to work.
· Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Desirable
· Previous experience working within sport, football, entertainment or a ticketing environment.
· Knowledge of ticketing systems such as Alloc8, Ticketmaster, AudienceView or similar platforms.
· Understanding of football supporter culture and the matchday environment.
· Experience working with CRM or customer database systems.
· Knowledge of data protection and GDPR principles.
