A cut above the rest - County fans to make incredible donation to the Little Princess Trust

Before Saturday's game against AFC Wimbledon at Edgeley Park, four year old County fan Emily Mann will be having her hair cut for the very first time.

It won’t just be a haircut though, as Emily has said she wants to ‘help poorly children with no hair’.

Joining her, having her own haircut will be her mum Holly. Their hair will be cut by a professional hairdresser and the hair will be donated to ‘The Little Princess Trust’, before then being made into wigs for children and young people who suffer hair loss due to illnesses such as cancer, alopecia, and Wilms disease.

Holly from Edgeley, has served many years as a dedicated fundraising advocate for The Little Princess Trust. This wonderful organization is recognised as one of the United Kingdom’s leading charities, supporting children and young people up to the age of 24 who are experiencing hair loss resulting from cancer and leukaemia treatments, as well as other conditions such as alopecia.

Holly, a hard-working mother who holds a degree in Child Abuse, Neglect and Mental Health, is well-known for her genuine love for children and her unwavering dedication. Her efforts to promote awareness have inspired all demographics of people throughout Stockport and beyond to support the “Little Princess Trust” through both financial contributions and hair donations.

All funds raised have supported 158 essential research projects focused on advancing gentler and more effective treatments for paediatric cancers. The charity has supplied more than 2,000 wigs annually to children and young people completely free of charge.

Holly and Emily will be having their hair cut in the Courtyard before Saturday's game. They would welcome any donations from our generous supporters towards their fantastic fundraiser.
